Charlee Anne Fox holds a Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Shepherd University. Combining these fields of expertise, Charlee has merged her passion for the environment with her fervor for advocacy, research, and writing.
While attending law school, Charlee cut her teeth in the Legal Writing Program, a program currently ranked 5th in the nation. She served as a teaching assistant in a Legal Analysis Writing and Research course, mentoring first year law students. Charlee served as Editor-in-Chief of Awaken, the Wake Forest University School of Law’s contemporary bioethics journal. She worked for LexisNexis, a legal research corporation, where she consistently maintained multiple professional research certifications.
Following law school, Charlee honed her research and writing skills on both federal and state levels. Serving as a federal judicial law clerk on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, she drafted numerous federal documents with meticulous attention to detail. Upon the completion of her clerkship, Charlee worked for a large law firm where she composed many briefs, court filings, and legal memorandums.
In addition to legal knowledge, Charlee has several years of experience working with non-profits and private foundations, holding roles such as Scholarship Coordinator and Assessment and Research Director.
Charlee is licensed to practice law in New Mexico. Outside of her professional career, she enjoys spending time roaming the wonderful hills and paddling the wild rivers of West Virginia.
